He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Leif Madsen; his parents, Ernest Pare and Maria Pare; and his sister Anita Bergheim (Jack). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Pare; his sons, Dwayne Pare (Corina), Kevin Pare (Connie) and Christopher Pare (Joanie); his grandchildren, Cynthia Madsen (Jayden), Kaylee Moan (Devon), Trishea Stellmaker (Johnathon), Danielle Porter (Travis), Alexis Pare (Tyler) and Thomas Pare; his great grandchildren, Isaiah Madsen, Jens Madsen and Anders Madsen; and his siblings, Andy Pare (Linda), Dennis Pare (Paulette) and Jackie Verhaeghe (Wilfred). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
