He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita and Ernest; and his daughters, Sharon and Barbara. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie, Oretta, Sam (Tina), Brittany, Theresa, Mandi, Alannah, Jessie, Nadine (Isaac), Lance, Maggie and Cody; his grandchild Deasia; his siblings, Lorraine, June, Simone (Fred), Lenard (Joyce) and Lorna; and his aunt Virgina. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
