He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Dakin and Annette Dakin; and his brothers-in-law, Stafford Smith and Eugene Plamondon. He is survived by: his wife Doreen; his children, Grant (Tracy), Cal (Charity), Tyler (Yvonne) and Laura; and his grandchildren, Emily, Zac, Joshua, Caleb, Camryn, Julie, Tobiah and Jeremy.
