He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Cardinal (Tanya) of Blaine, Cory Tremblay (Mary), Cody Tremblay and Jennifer Callioux; his grandchildren, Ciarra Quintal, Shanelle Quintal, Kyleigh Kisslinger, Everleigh Kisslinger, Ayden Tremblay, Maverick Tremblay, Marielle Tremblay, Maraleigh Tremblay, Pacen Cardinal and Kaden Cardinal; his siblings, Norma Cardinal (Maurice), Margie Bone (Rene), Louis Tremblay, Art Tremblay (Karen), Irene Tremblay, Brian Tremblay, Ted Tremblay (Koreann), Rhoda McGregor (Cam), Brenda Tremblay, Ramona Tremblay (Alex) and Sherry Calliou (Tommy); and the mother of his children Wendy Morrisseau. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
