He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Thom; his son Charlie Thom; his parents, Charlie Thom and Mable Thom; and his siblings, Jimmy, Eddie, Gerald, Leonard, Wilfred, Margaret, Mildred and Lorraine.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Woodward, Vern Thom (Melissa Laboucane), Lee Thom (Lisa), Jeremy Thom (Noreen), Sylvia Thom (Moe Bourque) and Lenny Thom; his grandchildren, Meaggan, Caitlin, Mitchel, Quayd, Jesse, Dustin, Ethan, Jacob, Jade, Taylor, Hannah, Carter, Keenan, Kristen, Madison, Haley, Patrick, Adriana, Shanaya, Marissa, Alivia and Sienna; his great grandchildren, Marcus, Audrie, Oliver, Ellie, Theo, Brylee, Brinley, Lainey, Khai, Rose, Ren and August; his siblings, Ernest Thom (Margaret), Clarence Thom, Delores Cardinal (Joe) and Gloria Thom Wareham; and his daughters-in-law, Candace Thom and Lori Rosychuk. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
