She was predeceased by: her husband Paul; her children, Leo Karpetz, Phillip Karpetz, Brian Karpetz, John Karpetz and Linda Chwedoruk; her son-in-law Brian Chwedoruk; her parents, John Yakimuk and Barbara Yakimuk; and her sister Nancy Pullishy.

She is survived by: her daughter Donna Dimmer (Ken) of Sherwood Park; her daughters-in-law, Beverly Karpetz of Sherwood Park and Joanne Karpetz of Spruce Grove; her grandchildren, Les Dimmer, Nicole Forrester, Rene Lamoureaux, Charity Dimmer, Blake Chwedoruk, Kelly Karpetz, Lisa Roper (Mike), Curtis Karpetz (Jennifer), Philana Watson (Brad) and Chad Karpetz (Chelsea); her brother Walter Yakimuk (Uanna); and her friend Maureen Smith. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
