It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Gordon Smith (Kitscoty, Alberta), who passed away on July 2, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorne Smith and Mildred Smith; and his brothers, Earle Smith, Fred Smith and Eric Smith A Celebration of Richard.

He is survived by: his wife Bev Smith of Kitscoty; his children, Brent Smith (Debra) of Kitscoty, Brian Smith of Vermilion, Scott Smith (Krystal) of Grande Prairie and Terri Leedell (Paul) of St. Albert; his grandchildren, Candice McLean (Doug), Krista Willcock (Troy), Kelsee Mark (Jonathan), Joel Smith (Jessica), Kaitlin (Taylor), Wolters, Cole Smith, Tyler Smith, Mia Leedell and Emerson Leedell; his great grandchildren, Alexa McLean, Brooklyn McLean, Katie Willcock, Brynn Willcock, Tanner Willcock, Richie Mark, Anastasia Mark, Emily Mark and Payton Smith; and his siblings, Johnson Smith, Lorne Smith, Leslie Smith, Betty Adams, Evelyn MacKay and Karen Dickinson.
