With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Simpson (Killam, Alberta), born in Hardisty, Alberta, who passed away on September 25, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Simpson and Pearl Simpson; his siblings, Gordon, Harvey, Ray Simpson, Helena Anderson, Florence Kipp, Frances Garford and Ethel Ball; and his grandson Bradley Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Marlene Stoodley; his sons, Garry (Marsella) and Darrell (Lori); his grandchildren, Jillian (Mike), Kristy (Aleks), Stacey, Jeremy and Kylie; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Amelia and Jaxon.
Memorial donations in Vernon's memory can be made to the Merna Cemetery, Battle River Community Foundation or a Charity of Donor's choice.
