She was predeceased by: her parents, Arie and Maria Vanderborden; her siblings, Arie and Willie; and her daughter Cindy.

She is survived by: her husband Vern; her son Ken (Donna); her granddaughters, Kaylee (Evan) and Danielle; her daughter Rose (Gord); her stepchildren, Karen (Ken) and Marven (Shalene); her sisters, Pleutje Maria, Erna and Debbie; her grandchildren, Jake (Danielle), Brittney, Ricci Lee, Mackenzie (Katelyn), Justin (Morgan) and Katherine; and her great grandchildren, Mattie and Phoenix.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Institute or the charity of one's choice.
