He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hobson and Ruth Hobson; and his wife Joanne Umrysh. He is survived by: his son Darryll (Annie); his grandsons, Ben and Chris of Burnaby, B. C.; his brother Kevin (Nancy); his nephew Cameron; and his niece Kara. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins.
