He was predeceased by: his father Fred; and his father-in-law William Mahdiuk. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Brent, Andrea, Gillian and Blair (Becky); his grandchildren, Max and Paige; his mother Adeline; his mother-in-law Rose Mahdiuk; his siblings, Noreen Armstrong (Hunter), Betty Saruga (Steve), Iva Hardy (Bryan), Grant Erion (Elaine) and Peggy Erion (Loren); his daughter-in-law Becky; and also Brandon Mahdiuk (Angele).
In lieu of flowers, Gerald's family requests that donations be made to The Kidney Foundation, STARS, The Ronald McDonald House, or The Flagstaff Food Bank.
