He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Judy Hemery (Darrell), Karen Huntley, Shauna Dittrick (Craig), Grant Lunty (Shannon) and Alison Vermette (Chris); his brother Wally Lunty (Doris); and his sister-in-law Edith Lunty. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Due to the COVID restrictions, a private family service will be held.

Memorial donations in memory of Garth may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
