He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth and Gudmunn. He is survived by: his sisters, Ruby and Carol; his niece Diane; his significant other Tracy Kersey; his siblings, Ronald, Thora (Dale), Linda, Bryan (Liz), Mervin (Lori) and Laura (William); his children, Alyssa (Justin), Jayden and Jacob; his great grandchild Cooper; his children, Blaise, Kyra and Myles; his stepdaughter Brandy (Jeff); and his stepgrandchildren, Haleigh, Donovan, Turner, Colby, Alexander and Isabella. He is also survived by his grandchildren, the warmth of his partner.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made on Edward's behalf to any branch of Bikers Against Bullying or the Canadian Cancer Society.
