He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Bendfeld and Mary Bendfeld (Coreen); his sister Doreen Badry; his brother-in-law Joe Zimmer; and his nephew Jeff Bendfeld.

He is survived by: his significant other Coreen; his children, Lynn (Doug), Lisa and Brian (Amy); his grandchildren, Cole (Kelly), Terra, Jenesa, Ryan, Troy, Kaitlyn, Owen and Nelson; his great grandchildren, Archer and Marshall; his siblings, Ralph, Calvin (Karen) and Jean Zimmer; and his brother-in-law Doyle Badry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
