He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Elizabeth Quinn; his children, Lawrence "Nap" Whitford, Melissa Whitford and Tiffany Desjarlais; his adoptive son Arnold "Benny" Whitford; his parents, Jerry Quinn and Mary Ward; and his siblings, Raymond Quinn, George Quinn Sr., Peter Quinn, Alex Quinn and Sarah Cardinal.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Whitford, Jody Whitford (Larry W.) and Jesse Quinn (Nadya); his foster daughters, Lillian Lewis Gladue (Shawn), Cecile Hope, Edna Desjarlais (Harold) and Vivian Desjarlais; his siblings, Marianne Gladue and Ernest "Lumberjack" Cardinal (Violet); his grandchildren, Shylo (Brendan), Anthony (Tiawah), Justine, Aiya, Donnie Jr., Aaliyah, Tyson, Brianna, William and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Joshua and Kayza; his godchildren, Jeremy, Jacob Gladue and Ava Buffalo; his nieces, Louise Adby (Jim) and Sheryl McGilvery (Jason); and his nephew James Lewis Gladue. He is also survived by brothers and sisters as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions and guidelines, the family is asking that all attending guests adhere to mask, social distancing and social gathering rules as laid out by the province.
