He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Anderson and Mildred Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Scott Anderson (Angela) of Innisfail, Darren Anderson (Candace) of Edmonton and Maureen Robertson (Sean) of Red Deer, Alberta; and his brothers, Darrell Anderson (Loretta) of Sylvan Lake and Rodney Anderson (Rosanne) of Kelsey, Alberta. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
