He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Stanley; his stepson Jefferey; his parents, Billy "Benny" Dion and Bella Dion; his grandparents, Billy, Sarah Dion, Edward and Maggie Cardinal; and his siblings, Ernest, Gerald Dion and Brenda Dion.
He is survived by: his daughters, Yvonne Stanley Quinney (Steven) and Serena Stanley; his siblings, Hazel Desjarlais (Ron), Louie Cardinal and Henry Cardinal (Mildred); and his nieces and nephews, Denny Dion, Leslie Makokis, Jordan Dion, April Quinney and Isabelle Dion. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews & other relatives.
