She was predeceased by: her husband James "Mickey" Bleskie; her son James; her parents, James Martin and Joan Martin; and her siblings, George, James, John and Mary.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie (Jean) of Plantognet, Serena of Drayton Valley and Christina (Lance) of Kelowna; and her sister Rena Sawatski (Joseph) of Edmonton, Alberta.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
At the family's request, those wishing to make memorial contributions in Marion's name are asked to make donations directly to the Cancer Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Institute for the Blind.
