She was predeceased by: her former husband Knute Gulbraa; her husband Ivor Thurston; her son Brian Gulbraa; and her sisters, Mildred Code and Marilyn Lockhart.
She is survived by: her sons, Allan of Irma and Kent Gulbraa (Maureen) of Irma; her grandchildren, Jesse Gulbraa (Krista), Karly MacKay (Mitch), Lance Gulbraa (Jessica Ohm), Brendon Gulbraa (Alana Hermsen), Meagan Bidulka (Byron) and Travis Gulbraa (Melissa); her daughter-in-law Deborah Burton (Ken); her grandchildren-in-law, Shelby and Paige; and her siblings, Ted Hill (Doreen), Stan Hill, John Hill (Suzanne), Aletha Tomlinson (Hugh) and Mina Dyck. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
