He was predeceased by: his parents, Constantine Kassian and Helen Kassian; and his sisters, Alice Laschowski, Mary Rudyk (Ed) and Anne Orlecky (Victor).
He is survived by: his wife Sophie; his children, Roy (Shannon), Robert (Patricia), Kelly (Laura) and Kevin (Carmen); his grandchildren, Trevor (Renee), Sheldon (Melanie), Kyle (Kaitlyn), Kari Cameron (Rod), Kristi, Dylan, Jayna, Carson and Camille; his great grandchildren, Keegan, Payton, Mason, Korenza, Kassidy, Koyier, Charli and Maggie; and his brother-in-law Walter Laschowski. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Innisfree and District Recreational and Cultural Society" (c/o Box 146, Innisfree, AB., T0B 2G0) or "Vegreville Care Centre – Patient Comfort Society.".
