He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Carruthers and Audrey Carruthers; and his wife Shirley Carruthers. He is survived by: his sister Alberta; his significant other Alberta; his partner's children, Charmin and Lane; his children, Charmin Carruthers (Chris) of White Rock and Lane Carruthers of Calgary; and his grandson Brody Carruthers.
