He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne; his sister Jackie; and his parents, Joseph and Jean. He is survived by: his children, Rieanne (Mark), Lindsey and Clayton (Megan); his grandchildren, Norah and Drew; and his siblings, Sergei (Rena), Rene (Evelyn), Bart (Cory), Mark (Andrea), Michele (Rod) and Marcia (Bob).
