He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hetherington Thomson (Hether) and Annie Thomson; his son Jim Thomson (Marylou) of Innisfail; his grandchild Jennifer Truchon (Reynald); his children, Alexandre, Matthis and Brittany McCoy (Brady); his grandchildren, Colt, Ashlyn, Tynan Thomson (Stephanie), Bryce and Riley; his brothers-in-law, Ross Hyatt (Sharon) and Jim Hyatt; his niece Janie (Fred); his wife June; and his brother Grant (Gladys).
