He was predeceased by: his mothers, Alma Glasier and Leona Glasier; his wife Wilma Schmidt; his siblings, Edward (Edna), George, Edith Laird (Archie) and Rose Sorge Janet (Archie); his brother-in-law Wayne Fisher; his parents-in-law, Henry Sr. and Nettie (Emily); and his siblings-in-law, Henry Jr. Schmidt, Jean Wangsness (Winton) and Annette Barnes (Ronald).

He is survived by: his children, Richard (Christine), Don (Pam) and Darlene Saar (Dwaine); his grandchildren, Nathan (Susanne), Stephen, Danielle (Kevin), Ryan (Laura), David, Jennifer, Sheena (Greg), Trisha (Steven) and Kyle (Jenna); his siblings, Bill (Marietta), Faye Shearer (Alan) and Arlene Fisher; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Glasier, Pete Schmidt and Betty Schmidt. He is also survived by his seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
