She was predeceased by: her husband Art Poczapski; her parents, August Lutz and Minnie Lutz; her sisters, Mary Lutz and Dorothy Lura; and her brother-in-law John Lura.

She is survived by: her sister Janet Andrews (Roger); and her cousin Judy Dreeshen (Earl). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
