He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve and Pauline; his brother Peter; his nephew Terry; his sisters-in-law, Ruth, Gertie and Rita; and his parents-in-law, John and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Connie (Cory), Scott (Freda) and Amanda (Tyler); his grandchildren, Colton, Courtney, Brittany (Rylie), Todd (Ariel) and Brianna; his great grandchildren, August and Sophia; his brothers, Leo, Gilbert (Dorothy), Sandy (Shirley), Harry (Eileen) and Otto; his brothers-in-law, Dwight (Bonnie), David, Donald (Josephine) and Clayton; and his friends, Anne, Lyle Oslund, Weston, Kolly Magneson, Jason and Christine. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives.

Memorial donations may be made to the Mazankowski Heart Institute or to the Stollery Children's Hospital.
