He was predeceased by: his brothers, Alex, Albert, George and Smitty. He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Robert, Don (Hilda), David, Larry (Roxy) and Karen (Rod Keist); his stepchildren, Howard (Cindy Ronsko), Joanne (Robert), Doreen (Tom) and Sharon (Rick); his grandchildren, Sheldon, Derrick, Troy, Trevor, Savanna, Gordon, Judy, Chad, Kristy, Shelby and Cole; and his siblings, Hugo (Irma), Frieda, Ida and Bertha. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Holden Cemetery or to the Holden Drop In Center.
