He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Harland and Ilena Harland; his sister June; his stepmother Evelyn Harland; and his sister Gloria Anderson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dianne (Les), Jim (Mary) and Gordon (Sandy); his wife Maureen; his children, Wendy (Craig), Wanda (Leon), Bob (Chris) and Dan (Carlene); his grandchildren, Alana, Kell (Melissa), Ileana (Jeff), Anita, Dorin (Lisa), Emily (Don), Tianna (Terry), Sierra (Parker), Brett, Natasha and Breanne (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Francek, Claira, Ondrej, Rhyan, Rhys, Leonid, Elena, Ravenna, Hatti, Emmett and Sullivan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
