It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Smiley of Hinton, Alberta, who passed away on June 26, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Evelyn Leone Smiley; his daughter Loni Ray Smiley; his siblings, Ronald Smiley, Denis Smiley and Mable Jean MacPherson; and his grandson Troy Kwasny.

He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his son Kevin Smiley (Susan); his grandsons, Courtney Smiley and Leni Nix (Ryan); his stepsons, Nolan Smiley and Garrett Smiley; his stepgrandchildren, Valerie Michaud, Dean Michaud (Brandy) and Rachel Kwasny (Casey); his great grandchildren, Andrew, Everett, Emma and Londyn; and his brothers, Ken Smiley and Leonard Smiley.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or the Hinton General Hospital.
