It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Esther Williams of Hinton, Alberta, born in Mayerthorpe, Alberta, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ron (Hinton); her sister Judy; and her parents, Emma and Jim. She is survived by: her sons, Adam (Xaverie) and Drew Williams (Carissa); her granddaughter Shay; her siblings, Gwen Fellows (Brent) and Sam Miner; her nieces and nephews, Hailey and Sherry French (Quentin); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Abby and Emily; her nephew Shaun Fellows (Nicole); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Keegan, Tye, Reed and Raya; her nephew Zac Stashko (Krista); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Zander and Zaxxon; her nephew Scott Stashko (Angie); and her great-nephew Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Mary's memory to the Hinton Community Cancer Centre of the Hinton Health Care Foundation; it was a place that Mary knew very well and was extremely grateful for the high quality of care provided by the staff who shepherded her through her treatment with kindness and support.
