Kerry Lucien Lavoie Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kerry Lucien Lavoie of Hinton, Alberta, born in Barrhead, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 2, 2024 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Rachel, Lucien Lavoie, Louise Heels and Jerry Bauer; his father Clement Lavoie; and his son Christopher Lavoie.

He is survived by: his mother Betty Yelden; his wife Carolyn; his children, Bob (Tara) and Kara (Katherine); his grandson Logan; his siblings, Perry Lavoie, Rick Lavoie, Linda Lavoie and Shirley Halliday (Ken); his nieces, Jennifer Lavoie (Mark) and Katherine Wookey (Colby); and his great-nephew Jack. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hinton Royal Canadian Legion (250 Pembina Ave, Hinton, AB T7V2B4). The inurnment was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (181 Robb Rd, Hinton, AB T7V1H9).
