He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy MacDonald; his uncle Parker; and his grandparents, Angus, Mary MacDonald, Stella and Bernard Heinekamp.

He is survived by: his mother Brenda MacDonald; his daughters, Merissa and Brianna; his stepfather Jack; his sister Brenda Lee; his brother-in-law Corey; his sister Lisa (JW); his nieces and nephews, Haley, Jade, Claire, Kaine and Xander; his aunt Minnie; his wife Lisa Brett; his stepdaughters, Kaitlyn O'Keefe and Shae-Lyn O'Keefe; and also Kathy Sloan. He is also survived by many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
