John Winston Bjorkquist Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Winston Bjorkquist of Hinton, Alberta, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Betty; his siblings, Arthur, Bill, Robert, Doug, Vera, Beatriz and Connie; and his niece Colleen Ida.
He is survived by: his wife LaVerne; his children, Tracy and John; his daughter-in-law Christine; his grandchildren, Daniel (Michele), Megan (Tyler), Spencer, Mason and Molly; his great grandchild Violet; and his siblings, Kathy, Marge and Richard (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (250 Pembina Ave, Hinton, AB T7V2B4).
