He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannine Sander; his parents, Joseph Sander and Bernadina "Bernie" Sander; and his siblings, Peter "Pete" (Helen), Anton "Tony", William "Willie", Clementine "Clem" Vandale (Ernie), Martha Urban (Richard) and Doreen Weinkauf (Leo).
He is survived by: his son Brent Sander (Julie); his grandson Anton Sander; his stepchildren, Gale Smith (Tom), Kerry Crump (Linda) and Rob Crump; his siblings, Frank Sander and Rose Reineger (Ken); and also Marlene. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
