He is survived by: his wife Mariea Ostashek (Garneau); his children, Neil Testo (Lisa), Albert Ostashek (Cindy), Ginette Quintilio (Darin) and Joleen Hirst (Darren); his grandchildren, Carter Ostashek (Stacey), Tomas Quintilio, Max Testo, Tori Ostashek, Bella Quintilio, Zarah Quintilio and Madi Testo; and his sisters, Doris, Alexandra Merrell (John) and Anne Davidson (Bill).
In lieu of flower tributes, donations, if desired, can be directed to the Hinton Community Cancer Centre or the Hinton Healthcare Foundation in memory of George Ostashek.
