With solemn reverence, we commemorate Esther Marie Schellenberg of Hinton, Alberta, whose life came to an end on July 26, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolf Trauter and Bertha Trauter (Engel); and her siblings, Edmund, Fred, Viola, Verna and Robert Trauter.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Schellenberg of Vancouver, BC. and Debra Schapansky (Dwayne) of Hinton, AB.; her stepgrandchildren, Trevor Schapansky (Andrea), Brantley Schapansky, Kaytlyn Penner (Ben) and Felysia Green (Nathan); and her great grandchildren, Owen, Kayanna, Jacob and Kaylee.
