He was predeceased by: his parents, Resto Darkes and Alice Darkes (Clark); his sister Lucille Hammill; and his son-in-law Rob Corrigan. He is survived by: his wife Susan (Sue); his children, Amy (Nick) and Aaron (Corina); his grandchildren, Ashley, Christina (Jeremy), Meghan (Travis) and John (Leah); his great grandchildren, Robbie, Alaya, Blakely, Daxon, Stella and Nash; and his sister Lois.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest a donation to the Hinton Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion or a charity of your choice.
