He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Mae Farnholz; his parents, Anna Farnholz and Wilhelm Farnholz; and his siblings, Otto Farnholz, Freda Kupsch, Julie Schultz, Ann Lee and Erna Armstrong.
He is survived by: his children, Dianna Calder (Dave) of Calgary and Dale Farnholz (Tammy) of Drayton Valley, AB; his grandchildren, Tyrel, Nicole and Morgan Farnholz; and his sister Hilda "Lee" Farnholz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
