He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elder and Beverly Elder. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Elder; his sisters, Joanne Smith and Judy Iwacha (Paul); and his nieces, Kim Smith (Sean), Heather Smith and Paige Iwacha.
