He was predeceased by: his daughter Kimberly Dawn; his brothers, John and Ernest; and his siblings-in-law, Laura and Joseph Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Kevin (Leslie), Cliff (Dianne), Doug (Wendy) and Mark (Lisa); his grandchild Kyllo St-Onge (Simon); his great grandchildren, Darius, Damien and Isaac; his grandchildren, Kale (Brianna), Heather and Ashley Harder (Tyrell); his great grandchildren, Khyrin and Josiah; his grandchild Rylan (Keisha); his great grandchildren, Elijah, Noah and Cyan; his grandchildren, Chase, Kade and Cove; his sister Marguerite Smith of Seattle, Washington.; and his granddaughter-in-law Carol Leask of Prince Albert.
