We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2023, at the age of 86, Joan Halverson (High River, Alberta), born in Edmonton, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Turk and Constance Turk (Charles); her grandson Jason Somerville; her great grandchild Metta George; and her brother George Turk.

She is survived by: her daughters, Trudy Halverson, Linda Aiello and Laurie Howe (Stan); her grandchildren, Jennifer Somerville, Shelby Sears, Satina Hains, Rio Aiello, Regan Howe and Madison Howe; and her sisters, Ruth Wilson (Dale) and Barb Elston (Kurt). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
