He was predeceased by: his parents, David Mayes and Margaret Mayes; and his daughter Laurel. He is survived by: his wife Joan Alana Mayes; his sons, David McAllister (Alixe) and Mark Mayes (Cheri); his son-in-law Doug Cooper; his grandchildren, Karlee Bowles (Parker), Davis Cooper, Dawson, Jacob, Jadon McAllister and Ian Mayes; his brother Norm (Kay); and his niece Kerry Mayes Bonnett. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
