She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Clements. She is survived by: her mother Doris Clements; her husband Earl; her children, Carla Woolridge (Craig) and David Peterson (Monica); her grandchildren, Kaydence, Logan and Zachary; and her brother Larry Clements. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and brother/sister in-laws.

Darlene was an avid volunteer with the Canadian Diabetes Foundation for many years.
