He was predeceased by: his wife Verna; his brother Donald Robertson (Dorothy); his brothers-in-law, Ron Schimpf and Howard Baum; and his parents, John Robertson and Marion Robertson.

He is survived by: his children, Sherry Hilliard (Paul) of Fall River and Daniel Robertson (Della) of Okotoks, AB.; his sister Shirley Schimpf; and his sister-in-law Ozzie Baum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
