He was predeceased by: his son Brian; his parents, Joseph and Hanna; his siblings, Rita Blumhagen, Leander, Ralph, Melvin and Norman; and his siblings-in-law, Irvin Blumhagen, Jerry Hihn, Jim Kroetsch, Mel Kuefler, Warren Sommer and Maryanna.
He is survived by: his wife Alma; his daughter-in-law Lori Martz of Heisler; his children, Ron (Wanda) of Stony Plain, Deb Holt (Ken) of Lloydminster, Lana Flore (Norm) of Lyalta, Connie Martz of Camrose and Gail Kipta (Mike) of Lyalta; his sisters, Theresa Kuefler of Sherwood Park, Angela Hihn of Camrose and Florence Sommer of Camrose; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Martz of Camrose and Lorraine Martz of Camrose.
