Katherine Busenius Obituary
The memory of Katherine Busenius of Hay Lakes, Alberta, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Herman; her husband Walter; her parents, Frank and Kathrina; and her siblings, Frank and Adel.
She is survived by: her children, Neil Busenius (Sandra), Fran Madell (Dean), Helen van (Gary) and Meij; and her siblings, Mike Ott and Anne Fenske (Er Hardt). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church (11 1 Ave S, Hay Lakes, AB T0B1W0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Katherine's memory may be made to the Battle River Community Foundation-Walter and Katherine Busenius Fund (https://brcf.ca); or to a charity of one's choice.
