She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin; and her parents, Jacob Schmidt and Lydia Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Anklam (Bernie) of New Sarepta, Allan Schoenknecht (Pam) of Hay Lakes, Marilyn, Kemppainen of Minnesota, Shelley Merriman (Clark) of Red Deer and Doug Schoenknecht (Sue Gillespie) of Camrose.
