We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2021, at the age of 83, Duane Ernest Joseph Marcotte of Hay Lakes, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Justine. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Sheila Ann Diduch (Jim) of Edmonton, Darren (Katherine) of Czar, Lisa Marcotte (Shawn Burr) of St. Albert, Julie Petley (Dave) of Daysland and Nicole Kyle (Mike) of Hay Lakes; and his siblings, Marcia Mack of South Dakota, Rita Mack of Estevan, Ron (Jeannie) of Saskatoon, Dennis (Bev), Annette Semple (Gavin) of Regina, Gary (Helen) of Southey, Carol Zimmerman (Jerome) of Estevan and Louise Yoner (Richard) of Leduc. He is also survived by husband, loving father, and legendary Papa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid Restrictions, a Funeral Service will be held at a later date.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Duane's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the Cross Cancer Institute.
