It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Rempel (Hardisty, Alberta), born in Langley, British Columbia, who passed away on February 26, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben and Meta; her significant other Robert Goossen; her son Merle; and her siblings, Bruce, Susan and Evelyn.
She is survived by: her spouse Donald Edward Block; her children, Michael Owens (Colleen), Frank Block (Carmyn) and Rhonda Johnson (Kevin); her grandchildren, Camille Roney (Morgan), Michael Crane (Mariah), Haiden Block, Cianna Johnson and Murray Owens; her great grandchild Grayson Roney; and her siblings, Cecil Rempel (Jeannette), Doreen Sheuer (Harry) and June Stuart. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
