It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Kells of Hardisty, Alberta, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kells and Lottie Kells; and his siblings, John, Les, Norman, Vivian, Leona and Virgie.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Smith of Kerrobert, Cliff Kells (Julie) of Hardisty, Judy Clark (Trent) of Mannville and Tim Kells of Hardisty; his grandchildren, Lyndsay Neumeier (Kurt), Kathryn Stuart (Cory), Garrett Smith, Ian Clark (Courtney), Brian Clark (Kirsten), Dylan Clark (Amanda), Jonathan Kells (Rhyleigh), Kaitlyn Kells (Tristan) and Rene Kells; his friends, Deb Harrison and Gary Smith; his siblings-in-law, Grace Kells, Bruce Wilke, Jack Hampshire, Clifford Kjos, Scottie Patterson, Laura Kells and Ruby Kells; his wife Beth Bainbridge; and also, Donna Wold (Doug), Mary Wood (Al), Jessie Gilmour (Keith) and Nancy Bateman (Gerald Price).
A small funeral service was held due to COVID-19 restrictions at Hardisty Hall on June 13th with Reverend Stephen Haughland officiating and he was buried at the Hardisty Cemetery along with Beth's ashes.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
